Hardness tester specimen:
Specimen shall have a certain size and thickness, and shall ensure that the distance between the center of the adjacent indentation and the center of the indentation to the edge of the specimen is greater than 3 mm, and the minimum thickness of the specimen shall not be less than eight times the depth of the indentation.
After the test, there shall be no obvious deformation marks on the support surface of the specimen. The minimum thickness depends on the material and the load used. Refer to the minimum thickness table below.

Indication accuracy
1.Check the accuracy of the hardness tester regularly with the standard hardness block configured with this machine.
Wipe the workbench and standard block clean and test on the hardness block working surface, and never test on the support surface.
- If the indication value is large, in addition to the inspection in item 4 of this section, it should also check whether there is burr on the support surface of the standard hardness block. If there is burr, use oil stone to light it.
3.When testing at different positions of the standard block, the hardness block should be dragged close to the work surface, and it is strictly forbidden to take it off the workbench.
4.Adjustment of the indication of the hardness tester:If the above work is performed, the error of the hardness tester is still large, and the front and rear positions of the plate can be adjusted to meet the indication accuracy requirements.
To do this, loosen the two M3 screws on the front and rear of the adjustment plate and move the adjustment plate back and forth.
Note that when moving in the direction of the indicator, the value increases,otherwise the value decreases. After the adjustment is completed,the two M3 screws that have been loosened should be fastened.
